What is personality development?
Personality development is to develop your character, behaviour and point of view which makes a positive attitude towards society. To know anyone’s personality,you can find out by seeing his way of talking and normal behaviour with others.
As we have already learnt about personality development from our teachers in school but have we look in deep on this topic.
Personality development means how you talk, dress ,connect with people ,how you make friends and how you love your life..all these include in maintaining your personality.
So let’s see how you can develop your personality?
In today’s world each and every person have to think smart and active in order to live in this society. Not only your strength but also your plays an important role in your life.
1-Be confident-
A poet said once that if you believe that you can fly then you will definitely fly .if you want to do anything in your life so only the key is to belive in yourself. It is the first step to develop your personality or character.
Never doubt on your ability and always say to yourself that I can do it, this work is for me. You can read books or novels related to success stories so that you will get motivation from them. Because the books we read or see ,we think in the same way itself. So you should always read good and inspirational books only.
2- Always Say Yes to learn-
It is said that only in empty vessel you can put things in that, if the vessel is full then you won’t be able to put things in that. Similarly Your mind should always be ready to learn anytime. Some arrogant people think that they know everything but in reality they have lack of knowledge.
You should listen actively to others .Fulfil your decision by your own because if you walk on others decision then this is the main reason of failure.
3- Need to work on your body language-
To make your personality look attractive, you have to work on your fitness of body. Because if you look fit automatically your personality will look good.
Many things get to know about you from this like the way of your talking, walking, how you eat or seat ..all these are connected to body language. Whenever you seat , seat without thinking anything in your mind and talk by maintaining eye contact with that person.
4- Always think positive
Whether it’s your way of talking or in your work, everywhere you should carry a positive attitude which is very important in personality development. Our way of thinking decides that how we are going to complete that particular work.
Positive thinking help to increase self confidence and personality. You will face many ups and downs in your life but if you keep positive thinking with you then you can see a right path in front of you.
5- Connect with new people
Try to connect or meet with new people as you meet new people you will get to know more about culture and the way of living which will help you more to develop your personality.
6- Be a good listener
It is very difficult to be a good listener but it is very important part in developing your personality.
If anyone is talking to you, careful listen to him, try to understand what he is talking by maintaining eye contact with him instead of looking here and there during conversation.
7- Be polite
Whether you are smart, clever person but if you are not polite then your personality is not going to look good in front of others. Because nobody like attitude people. You should always talk politely with everyone, give love to younger oned and respect elders.
8- Always be happy
Everyone says that stay happy but they don’t tell you how to stay happy. The best way to stay happy is to thank God for each and every thing you have with you now, because many people don’t have this also so it is your responsibility to thank god.
Try to see positive thing in every part of your life . Laugh with others but don’t laugh on them. To laugh is an important part of personality development.
9- Stay calm in tough situations
Many people look very confident and smart from outside but when it actually comes at a point where they have to face that situation, they are not able to handle it properly and they always look tensed. Such behaviour doesn’t show a good development of your personality.
10- Be honest and loyal
Never cheat anyone and break anyone’s trust. If you stay humble and honest then surely your closed ones will appreciate you. Trust is very important in life and if that trust breaks once then it become very difficult to gain it again from that person.
